Perfect weather for soup!
Hey Kelly,
I have been craving oyster stew for some reason. I havent ate that in so long but is a good soup for the cold. If not feeling all betty crocker I usually just pop open a can of campbells kind. Its just easier but milk, lil butter, and fresh oysters is usually all you need and some seasonings of your choice. Yum yum...

My boss and I split a can (ok, he gets more like 3/4 now), of New England clam chowder nearly every day. Mmmmmmm..... I love a good snapper soup too. Haven't had it since surgery though. But, my all time fav is my grandmother's homemade beef vegetable soup. Ya can't get that in a can.
LOL! It makes a huge soup pot full. Thank goodness it freezes well. It takes all day to cook and makes the house smell soooo yummy too. My aunt just brought me some that she made last weekend. In the words of Rachel Ray.... Yumm-Oh!
Word to the wise, if you are post op, avoid tomato soup. I had some last weekend and I
dumped! Not fun!
Sugar was waaayy too high, and dummy me didn't look beforehand.
Huggs,
Ruth
