Hey everyone, i am 4 weeks out! I feel much better and have finally been given the ok to start including some meats. I had some turkey meatballs w/sauce and mozzarella today it was YUMMY!! I weighed in at the Nutritionist today and am down to 251, 28 pounds since surgery, 65 total! I have increased my treadmill time from 10 minutes a day to 40 on a good day. I am not as sleepy as I was the first few weeks, and am beginning to find some energy! I am back to work and school, i am taking two night classes at college, and am on my way now so I will check in again when I have more time. Feel free to check out my pics, although they arent that great. If anyone could please help me find a way to post them side by side(and smaller) that would be great. I tried every html code photobucket gave me and it didnt work. Thanks, hope you are all well! Karyn

Melissa, Hi sweetie! Thanks for the kind words, and for caring so much. I am doing great, and don't feel at all like I did two weeks ago! It is amazing how quickly things change. i have my energy back and am not so emotional about this anymore. I am glad i could help with posting the foods, the January boards have given me some great ideas and I figure since we all had surgery around the same time, I could feel comfortable trying the things they suggested. Wendy's chili seems to be a BIG hit! Anyhow, I am thinking of you often and cant wait to hear your surgery date! Karyn

Karyn, Congratulations Karyn! You are looking great, well on your way! By the way, to post your pics side by side and smaller, you have to resize them before uploading to photobucket. I never do taht because I am too lazy and hate menial tasks. You can just use your photoediting software. Good luck! Carrie

Thanks Carrie, I will try that, just because I want to see the difference that everyone else sees It is harder for me, although I FEEL better, I dont notice much difference in my looks yet. Karyn

Karyn, I think seeing the difference in yourself is the hardest. I have lost 125 pounds, and I still feel like I look exactly the same, I really can't see a difference, even in pictures. I have heard other people say years after losing weight, they still feel like "the fat chick." I am cool with that, as long as I can ride Superman at 6 Flags! Carrie
