Finally, Surgery Date, 3rd times a charm

I too, am guilty of lurking, I was very depressed after my last cancellation in December, since then my surgeon has gone out on his own, started his own practice and relocated his office. I am happy to report that I am now sceduled for surgery on April 3rd!!

Thanks Lori,,,I posted a while back, that I was lurking, but didn't get many replies. I did get very depressed about this whole thing after the 2nd cancellation, but now that I have a date again, I feel renewed!! BTW, you are looking great, I saw you new photos!! Vee

Ms. Vee Kay, You are not alone. I too will have had my surgery rescheduled for the 3rd time. My original date was 8/24, but I wanted to go back to school, so I cancelled and rescheduled. Then we had December 19th, 2 days after the end of the semester, but on December 17th my daughter wa**** by the car that shot my brother and they were both in the hospital. So I forgot about me to make sure that they were okay. So now its all about me. I have a consult with my surgeon on Monday and we are going to get another date. I am going to have this surgery on the date that he gives me next, no matter what. If something happens, we will all be in the hospital together. I am dead serious this time. Summer is coming FAST and I want to be at the least a size 18 from this 30/32 on my birthday in August. So be encouraged and you (we) will have surgery soon. Hi Ginger My surgeon stayed the same, he just separated from Dr Zahn, when Dr. Zahn retired, and opened up his own practice. I will still be at Good Sam,,,and I would love to see you again. Vee
