Insurance Approved--Got a DATE!!!!

HELLO PEOPLE, I am APPROVED!! Wednesday, Feb 22 the business office of where I am having WLS faxed my info to Aetna. I was not expecting to hear back for a few weeks. I found out today... 2 days. It sure has been a battle. I spent the last year and half trying to convine my former insurance to approve me.. appeal after appeal.. they said no. I switched insurances. I met the criteria (6 month medically supervised diet within 2 years or 3 consecutive months, and psych; bmi/comoribities). My surgery date is March 28th. I have to do the stress and echo (eko) on March 7th (I hope i make it thru that). Any suggestions about the stress and echo thing? I was told to not drink alcohol for two days before that and to start drinking lots of water. Should I try to walk more or what? what exactly is a stress test?? Tam... CONGRATS!!! Your day is coming up quick!! I cant answer the question about the stress test as I didnt have to have one.. That was the one test I didnt have to have I guess.. But Im sure someone on here will let you know what to expect.. Amber Ohh.. Killeen!!! I just left there a couple years ago.. Boy do I miss that area! Someday I hope to move back there!

Hi Tam, Congrats! Your date is right around the corner! You are on your way to an awsome journey that will change your life forever! I did not have to have the stress test ( I don't think I did) Anyway you will do fine just be ready for a great new change in life and the quality of it! Kelly
