Lori, I actually went to the gym with my husband this morning!! It was the first time for me going. I wasnt thrilled at the idea but was surprised at how well it went! ( I live on a Navy base so the gym is filled with young, fit, and ****y males.) To my surprise everyone was great! I met several young men who were friendly and so helpful! I cant wait to go again tomorrow. I will be going 5 mornings a week! I cant list what I did, cause I really have no clue what all I did. I just know this guy walked me through 45 minutes of torture- jumping from machine to machine- all upper body work.. then I spent 20 minutes on a bike and pedaled 15.5 miles! I was so exhausted by the end that I thought I would drop right there! This guy is going to work with me for a week or so then Ill be on my own! But atleast I have someone to show me the ropes and help me figure out what I need to do! Tomorrow is legs and of course the bike again! Amber

Good for you Amber! Getting started with someone to show you the ropes is the best way! Then if you can, maybe meet up with him/her every couple of months to get new things added! Once you get used to this, you won't be able to miss it. It will be too much a part of you! Great, I'm excited for you! Lori

Good for you Hugs and smiles, Ginger P.S. Lori, I walked all over Wal-mart. Does that count for cardio???...Oh, and I was pushing a cart too.

Hi Lori. I finished clearing my backyard. Later this month, I will borrow my neighbor's tiller (and his strong son) and turn up the dirt, then sow grass seed, plant hosta and a few flowers. I am saving thousands of dollars by doing this myself, rather than hiring someone. Weight loss saves money! So, today's workout: 90 minutes moderate yard work. Kasey 365/210 (nonop)

Kasey, this is so terrific! I'm so proud of you! What is hosta? Keep up the great work! Lori

Do a Google image search, and you will see many pictures of hosta. They are short, fern-like plants that do well in shade. My backyard neighbors have many towering oak trees which block out most of the sun in my yard. Best of luck. Kasey 365/210 (nonop)
