Update

Just a quick update to let everyone know where I am at. I got my approval from the insurance company like you all know. I had to wait for the approval letter to get to my Doctors office. Well they recieved the letter on Friday and told me to give them a call today. I called today and talked to Carrie she scheduled me for my Pre-Op class this Monday the 6th. I have to be there at 7:45am until around 1:00pm. I figured DH and I would go up and spend the night. After my class they SAY it will be approx 3 weeks until surgery. But usually sooner they just have to tell us 3 weeks. YEA!!! They offered my class on the 13th but I said I was unable to make it that day cause I have to be in Springfield for a support meeting. Of course I didnt tell them why I couldnt make it. lol Thanks for all the support. Love ya Melissa

Hi Jamie, Did I miss when your surgery date is??? On the Arizona board I was wishing Vee Kay good luck on her surgery this Friday. However, I was informed that Vee's surgery is on April 3rd, not March 3rd!! Am I totally losing it??? Hugs to you Jamie!!! Ginger

Nope, I'm still waiting to hear mine. It shouldn't be too much longer though. When I met with the Pychiatrist on Monday he said when his report goes out it's just a matter of a week or so and a date is given. He said be prepared because it will happen pretty quickly. I meet with him again on the 14th of March to go over his report and sign it and then he faxes it off to the surgeon. I meet with my primary on March 9th to fax off all of my pre-op tests and have that second EKG and I am crossing my fingers that it comes back normal. Hugs, Jamie
