I went to Lane Bryant Catalog today and found a few that I bought but I was thinking I'd try here also. When I was pregnant I wore these and they were very comfortable. I thought they would work perfect after surgery. I bought one that has buttons all the way down the front and one that doesn't. Anyone that has any they no longer need I'd be glad to take them off your hands and when I'm done I will pass them on to another WLS bud. THANKS and HUGS, Jamie

Believe me You will not need them for long. Do not get more than a couple. They are great for those first couple of weeks, But as soon as you start losing you want back in normal clothes so someone will notice. Good luck and God bless, Deb 392/294/225

Jamie, I dont have any.. I lived in boxers and a big tee shirt after surgery.. All my bigger clothes went to a lady who lost everything when her house burned down 4 weeks before surgery... Now as I shrink out of things I pass everything on to her... The other poster was right, you wont want to wear big stuff for long after surgery.. Your going to want things that show your loss.. Amber

Truly, Jamie, if you have a local clothing consignment shop, start going there for clothes for a while, you'll waste money trying to stay in clothes that fit for the first 9 months. It's fun and frustrating at the same time. Prepare to look like a bag lady for a little while and enjoy the roomy feel of your clothes! ((((Hugs)))) Myra

That's okay guys I took Amber's advice and bought a few pair of boxers to go with the dresses I already bought. I'm good to go. My clothes now are so tight there's NO way I'd be able to wear them after surgery and sadly here on Oahu there are NO plus size stores..plenty of plus size people but no stores. I've been to Goodwill and the Thrift Store here on post with no success. Hopefully like you guys say I won't need them too long. Thanks again, Jamie

Hey Jamie, After surgery I think you should open a plus sized store.. Sounds like you'd be high in demand and have no competition... I know a lady here in town that did it with BBW.. some of her stuff is overpriced.. and some I wouldn't upholster my couch with.. but some is really nice... And when your customers see your before and after pics they'll know you understand them better than anyone!!
