last pre-op visit done

ok all i went to my final pre-op visit to day and i am good to go for surgery march 15th.. that is just 7 days from today wooo hooo wooo hooo i am so excited not scared at all... i am just excited... I leave home on monday to go to traverse city .. I have to go to the hospital on Monday for an appointment to you know make sure they get the bill paid stuff... lol then monday me and my hubby are going to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary it is really march 9th but he will not be home until sunday so we will do it monday... then tuesday i go in the hospital to have a green field filter put in then wednesday is my day... wish me luck and i will post when i get home friday.. Priscilla ( i will be on between now and Sunday but did not want to forget to do this post.)

Hello Priscilla! So glad your final pre-op went well! I had mine today...PCP gave me the go head for surgery...so on we go to March 15th! I'm praying that God will guide us both safely through our surgeries next Wednesday and that our recoveries will be complete and with no complications. My PCP said what is most important is to get up and walk as much as you're able the day of and after surgery. He said one of the bigger risks is blood clots and we can avoid them by moving -- even though it will be painful. I also pray that we will receive appropriate and effective pain medication so that moving around will be tolerable. I wish you all the best and will chat with you again on the other side of surgery!
