What are you doing today?

Hi Everybody, What is everybody doing today? This morning I am taking a sewing class. I bought a fancy embriodery/sewing machine a couple of weeks ago. Now I gotta learn how to do all the fun things you can do with it if you know what you are doing. The catch-all is that I had to buy a lap-top computer in order use this machine...you have to be mobile in order to take the classes. I think we spent way too much money on this thing..but I ALWAYS have buyers remorse in the worst way. My hubby is the one who loves all these gadgets and such. My sister has her hysterectomy today. Thank you to all of you for your candid advise of caring for her in the aftermath of it all. I know that she will do fine. After my class, we are going to the hospital to visit her. I have never been a confrontational person...I just hope I don't run into my sister's sister-in-law while I am there this week-end. That "lady" got my sister in such an emotional state last night..at a time when she needs alittle compassion. Family...what can I say??? Anyways, What are all of you guys doing today?? Hugs, Ginger

greetings ginger i'm at work...i'm always at work! but that's okay...gotta make a living to feed all my pets. the highlight of my week has been that i got a second dog! i had 2 dogs for years, then lost the older one (he was 17). i've been thinking of getting another, but knew some sad homeless dog would show up -- that's where all my pets come from...and one did! unfortunately, he's got heartworm, so he's gonna have to go thru a horribly painful treatment. anyhow, getting him acclimated to our routine has been challenging! but he's a sweetie. i also have 6 cats -- my house is like wild kingdom! you take care! deb -238

Hi Ginger I am at home, vacuumed the floors from sitting positions around the house, put the dogs out, took a shower, and am going to realiters today to sign final paperwork to sell a trailer and property we bought and fixed up for resale, think we lost on this one. oh well. Tomorrow I go to champaign to get my drain taken out, cant wait. well bye have a nice day. love marie

Ginger, It is my 45th birthday. Since I live alone (with my cats) and have no family in Utah, I make a big deal about it by going around all day telling everyone that it is my birthday! Weird huh? I did my jazzercise class at 5 am, so have had a long day of telling everyone. I have 2 employees whose names I mix up all the time. It was so funny, today, they brought me a birthday cake that said "Happy Birthday Christy Lori! The Christy had an X through it. I so deserved that! Anyway, I wish you sister good luck. Lori

Hi Birthday Girrrl!! Congradulations you young thing you!!! I'm er..ah.. 47 and proud...although my birthday was spent in the hospital after my wls, so I actually had 2 birthdays in the same week!! That is soo funny about the birthday cake with the X through the name...talk about inside jokes, you won't be living that one down soon. Good for you..working out even on your birthday My sister had a complete hysterectomy...they didn't leave anything behind...so she is completely menaposal. The doctor says she lost a good amount of blood and right now she is kinda out of it...just like wls, they'll be getting her up and out of bed walking before she knows it.
