some walking on sunday, it seems as if since surgery I have slowed way down on everything. I do beleive surgery does that to a person. Anyway my goal this week is to start doing more exercise in my day. I bought a treadmill today. I hope it dont become a clothes rack. I did two 5 minutes walks on it today. love marie

Marie, You have to take it easy those first few weeks after surgery. These short 5 minute walks are probably the best thing right now. I couldn't really get on a heavy duty exercise routine for about 12 weeks after my surgery. Be patient with yourself. You've got the motivation! Lori

I went back to the gym for the first time since contracting bronchitis 10 days ago. I did eight minutes ellpitical and 40 minutes step and abs, half what I usually do. But this is the point after illness when I always get in trouble -- I start to feel better, resume my normal exercise routine too soon, and end up in the emergency room. So I'm trying to remember to take it easy. Best of luck. Kasey 365/210 (nonop)

Kasey, We definitely do not want you in the emergency room! Taking it easy until you are fully recovered is the best medicine! Lori
