Update on me

New update of what is going on with me. I received my approval letter in the mail 3/11/06 now there were two things that had me going on that day. For one I had to go to a family meeting regarding the reunion for next year, so since I was gone I was not able to meet the mailman when he came. So I get home around 4 PM and I check the mailbox and there was no mail in it. So I decide to call my husband to find out if there was any mail. He says no. I was content with that answer however I just knew that letter should have been in the mail on Saturday. I decide to walk around the house just in case on of my two wonderful children decided to place the mail somewhere else. As I walked in to the kitchen I notice an envelope on the table it was my letter of approval. Talk about happy I started to call everyone and tell them I got it I got it. So of course on Monday I faxed the doctors office a copy of the letter and I have an appointment on 3/29/06 and 10 am. The nurse coordinator told me that after that appointment since all of my other work is complete it should only be a six-week wait for me to have my surgery. So that means it will be sometime in May I will keep you posted as new thing develop.

I am not excited yet.... Is there something wrong that I am not really excited. Maybe I will chage when I get my date. Lorraine

Lorraine, CONRATULATIONS on your approval!! I know the day mine came I was jumping up and down. However, it didn't last long and I think because this is such a lengthy process and sooo many ups and downs the excitement comes and goes. Don't worry I bet as the date comes you'll be jumping for joy! I wish you all the best and please let us know when you get your date.. Hugs, Jamie
