Everyone Please Cross Your Fingers...
I finished my last appt. with Dr. Johnson the psychiatrist and he faxed off my report to the surgeon. He said he approved me for the surgery and sees no reason mentally why I could handle it. I got a call from the surgeon's coordinator on the way home and she said Dr. Balfour will go over everything and if he clears me for the surgery do I want to be put on the next available surgery date??!! I was like YYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEESSSSSSS Puhlease!!! I didn't know I had weighed in at 297 when I saw him last October and now I'm 290 so hopefully that will help. She didnt' act too concerned she did say he wants you do lose as much weight as you can. Soo, if the heart checks out and he thinks the weight loss is okay then hopefully he'll clear me.
PLEASE keep your fingers crossed that I get a date in the next few days!!!
I am soooo nervous and excited and well just everything. I might FINALLY be on the other side...woo hooo!!

Your in my thoughts and prayers. I know what you mean. That is all I am waiting on is my surgery date. Everything else is all in order and done. Man alive do I ever hate to wait like this. It is stressful and nerve racking and they expect you to lose weight while you sit on pins and needles. lol I called my surgeon today to see if they have decided anything. But the lady that schedules the appointments was in clinical today so I left my name and number. Well I went walking thro my computer room this evening at 5:15pm and noticed on my phone that the message button was blinking. Yup someone from the Dr. office called and since I must of be dialing a number it went automatically to my call notes. And of course they were closed when I went to call them. I knew they would be but hey I had to try. I am crossing my eye, fingers, toes, ankles, wrist, and anything else I can possibley come up with on a date for both of us!!!
