I dont know what is wrong, I have never really felt much nausea and today I am so nauseated I am afraid to eat anything. Any ideals?

since you're only about two weeks out, i'd suggest you try bland liquids for a day or two. i'm not sure where you are in your diet following surgery, but introducing 'new' foods slowly is a good idea. just a reminder, rie, don't forget to keep getting your fluids in. the food's not as important right now as liquids. hope you feel better soon. hugs dorthe

Marie, Sorry you are experiencing this...listen to Dorthe, the fluids are the most important. If the nausea continues, the doctor can give you something for it, but, I wouldn't take it unless it lasts a few days! Good luck! Lori

Marie, the first few weeks are so tough, it is really hard to say without knowing what you are eating/drinking, but nausea is one of the first symptoms of dehydration, so drink as much as you can! It definitely is the most important thing you can do. Take care! Karyn

Oh I am sorry to hear your not feeling good. Please rest and take it easy today. Maybe drink some broth. Lorraine
