OT--Bought a new car last night

I drove my 1997 Toyota RAV4 for nearly 10 years. I loved it! Just this year it has been having mechanical problems and I have a long commute, so I broke down and bought a new 2006 Toyota RAV4 last night. It is black, it is beautiful and I love driving it! But, I haven't had a car payment in 10 years so I will definitely have to get used to that! Lori

Hi Lori, Good for you. Gotta love that new car smell. You must realy love Toyota RAV4's to buy a second one. I drive a big suburban ( had lots of tummy room). We're still paying on hubby's truck. Actually Diana I don't love the new car smell! It is really activating my allergies, so I coughed and sneezed all the way in this morning!!! Oh well...at least it doesn't last for long. I feel like a cast member of "Sopranos" driving a black car with tinted windows. Lori 384/248.5/168

Congratualtions, I love black, except for the fact that it is hard to keep clean, I have a 2001 black ford sable. Has never given me any trouble. Enjoy your new truck love marie

Thanks Ruth, One of the great things about it is that I was so big in my last car that I had kinda worn down the drivers seat on one side with my very big butt and I had stretched out the seat belts so they wouldn't automatically retract!
