I'm back!

Hello my fellow SMO's! I've been away from the computer for since Sunday. It's weird how much I depend on the ole puter. I've been staying at my sister's house (only 45 minutes away) taking care of her since her hysterecomy last Thursday. The doctor didn't want her to be left alone..so I moved in for a few days. We had allot of fun...dispite the fact that she was heavily drugged..maybe that's why we had the fun. Anyways, I missed you guys and couldn't wait to get back on-line to check on things..How is everybody?? Any new surgery dates??? Hugs, Ginger

Welcome back Ginger I am glad to hear from you. I was wondering where you was, I figured had something to do with sister as I remembered your post on her hysterectomy. Hope everything went fine and she has a quick recovery. I bet she was glad to have you help her. I know when my sister was sick a few years back we got closer because she needed me around more. Now that she is all better we dont see each other much. And we only live two blocks away. Life can keep you so busy. That is okay though cause I kknow she is busy living life and that alone makes me happy. well got to go. love yah. marie

Hi Marie, I was glad I was available to help my sis. Two days before Christmas I was told by my wound care doc, that I could not leave town for the holidays. I had an incisional infection and they had to put my wound vac on my belly 24/7. I sent my hubby and two sons to visit his family, and I stayed with my sis. Good thing I did cause my machine lost it's mind beeping like crazy...I was able to get a new machine because I stayed in town...otherwise I would had ended-up in the hospital. I figured I owed her a favor or two..or three..we are pretty close anyway..not so much with my other sister..but she's got 7 kids to chase around!!! Hugs to you! Ginger

Yes Twinnie, SMOland is just like Disneyland, except that the seats for the rides are SMO sized! Glad you enjoyed your time with your Sis! Huggs, Ruth
