Gym Is Open (Saturday)

I had a meeting I had to go to at the radio station this morning, so I just went to the gym and did cardio instead of my regular Saturday water aerobics class. 10 minutes eliptical 15 minutes recumbant bike 25 minutes treadmill What did you do to move your body today? Lori

For the first time ever, I went for a long walk in the park. We have a beautiful metropark with a large wooded hiking area. The paths are paved or made of wood planks. It was about 50 degrees here and very sunny. The skies were blue, the birds were out, and I walked about half a mile. My knees didn't seem to mind. My ankles complained slightly. I know swimming and water aerobics will be my primary exercise for a while, but I really enjoyed the park. I think of it as ankle strengthening for next winter when I want to learn to skate (I'm a huge Red Wings fan). I know I need to swim laps. That'll be Monday.

Rebecca, Isn't walking grand??? I know your ankles complained, but as you keep reducing it will get easier and easier. I'm so happy you are getting your free mobility back. Keep up the great work! Lori
