Gym Is Open (Wednesday)
I felt great this morning and did my routine, but, since I've eaten, I've not felt so great...weird...anyway, glad I felt good enough to exercise this morning.
Here is what I did:
Cardio: Treadmill 35 minutes (5 min @ 3.0 mph 0%, 30 min @ 4.5 mph @ 2.5%)
Weights
SB Table Top 3 x 60 sec
Machine Back Extension 3 x 10
SB Wall Squat 3 x 8
Machine Leg Curls 2 x 10
Machine Leg Extension 2 x 10
Stability Ball Single Leg DB Shoulder Press 2 x 10
Machine Calf Raise 2 x 15

You all are *better men* than me today ... have had to take some meds lately that have really kicked my butt, sucked all my energy out of me and had my blood sugars crashing and burning. Finally got to stop the meds end of last week and I'm feeling better but I could tell in my workout today the toll it's taken.
10 mins treadmill
3 sets of 8 each on the Nautilus: overhead pulldowns (20 lbs)/rowing (20 lbs)/leg pushes.
3 mins elliptical (am just starting on this one, and it's doing me in!!)
3 sets of 15 each leg, steps
3 sets of 15, heel raises
4 mins. Achilles stretch
3 sets of 15 each arm, bicep curls, 8 lbs weights
3 sets of 15 each arm, band pull-backs for triceps
10 min arm bike (5 min forward, 5 min reverse)
3 sets of 7, raising ball from chest to overhead (7 lb ball) for abs and back muscle strength building (who knew this one would be a kicker, but it is!)
15 shoulder rolls forward, 15 shoulder rolls reverse
15 each, head tilts and head turns
I still have some "squats and squeezes", wall squats and leg lifts (for abdomen and back strengthening) to get in but I do those in intervals all day long. Would like to have a walk, but it's still too cold outside.
