Stalled
Hi Everyone 
Welcome to all the new people!! It's been a while since I last posted. I've been lurking from time to time, and figured I'd come out from under the 
I'm still battling the open wound, and found out I have a staph infection in it. I have a one month supply of antibiotics, and honestly they make me sooooo 
Hopefully it will all pay off in the long run, and this will finally heal up!!
I have so many things going on in my life right now I don't want to bore you all to death. 
but I wanted to catch you up. My journey for my WLS has halted for now. 
My DH was seriously injured by a neighbor that needs to be put away!! He hit my DH over the head with a 2X4,after he hit him in the ribs with it.... because he doesn't like anyone that is or has anything to do with law enforcement, and my DH is a former law enforcement officer. To make a long story short, the last 2 weeks have been sheer hell!! When my DH was hurt so badly, (he had 2 fractured ribs, a fractured eye socket, and serious concussion) I felt as if my world was turned completely upside down!!! He is my caretaker.....I never really realized how dependent on my DH I really am....well...now I know. Thank God for good friends, and family, we're managing to get through all of this!! I think I have the cleanest eyes in the world after so much crying. I have to laugh about it now, because I really doubt I have many more tears.
Anyway, since DH has been out of work for 2 weeks, financially, I am going to have to turn my patientce into high gear, and believe me....that is not going to be easy. On the more positive side, my wound specialist is a wonderful christian man, and he told me he has a couple that wants to assist me through my battles both financially, and be by my families side through all of it. I'll find out more about all of that when I go see him again Wednesday. Keep your prayers flowing!!
Well everyone, I didn't mean to write a novel, but I've missed you, and wanted to let you all know what is going on in my world. I hope to be able to be a more frequent visitor again.

OMGosh!!! You and DH *have* been through an ordeal!!! All my best to him and his recovery ... and I hope the neighbor isn't still *loose* on the world. What a terrible thing to happen!
On a side note, I hope you got my email ... looks like I get to be your HTML volunteer!!! Yay!! I *LOVE* it when I get to work on one of my SMO buddies' profiles!
