So happy you all are here

Thanks for all the responces to my earlier post. I actually went outside today and played with my bulldogs by throwing balls for them and then dh got home early and we just enjoyed sitting outside and talking. Tonight dh is going to grill some steaks. He is a butcher by trade and always picks the best cuts of meat for grilling. It is people like you that I can truly open up to and share thing I could never share with those who dont know what life is for morbidly obese. There was a earlier post from someone talking about a very uncomfortable subject having to do with cleaning ourselves. I admire the person for posting that because up until I found this board I never talked about that with anyone. Thank you all for being here. Annie

Glad you found us.. welcome to the best place on the web!!! I see you found the same things that I did.. nothing is taboo and there is nothing you're going thru alone. Some of those things no one else on earth could ever imagine.

I think this is my favorite section of the boards, Annie...for exactly the reason you mentioned. There are a lot of things I have never talked to anyone about (not even my significant other). I am ashamed of those things so I used to just stew and feel horrible about myself. Then I discovered the people here! I know I have found a place where I can talk if I want to and know everyone understand. It's wonderful! I love all you SMOs! Lisa L.
