Hi love, Well everything is fine here. It iwas in the 70's yesterday. I walked at the park with my dogs, then when I got home I walked to my aunts house, then when I got back U walked our other big doc around the block.
So far today I havent been up long enough to do anything.
I started reading a Sidney Sheldon book with 3 stories in it. I am reading the one called Bloodline. My aunt brought me a bunch of books. Her daughter gave them to her to read and she said they are too heavy to hold so since me and my daughter read all the time I get her books when she is done with them
It is spring clean up time of the year for everyone and we pass everything around. She gave me a lot of Daniele Steel which my daughter loves Daniele Steel, But I thought I would make my daughter give them back and put them up for a collector item type thing. What do you think? for her when she was older. I probably have 15 hardback and 15 paperbacks. love marie
Morning Rie-Rie ... you've done *ALOT* of walking!!! wow!!
I'm a reading fool too ... just finished Stephen King's "Cell" ... working on "Memoirs of a Geisha" now, and "The Devil's Knot" (factual account of the murders of 3 young boys in West Memphis, Arkansas in the early 90s). I usually keep at least two books going at once ...
... one in the front of the house, and one in the (bathroom ... shhhh don't tell anyone)
If anyone likes Stephen King ... "Cell" is good!

Hi ya Myra!
I had to smile when I read your post this morning...when you mentioned the jonquils blooming..it reminded me of how my dad used to wake me up in the morning. He would say,"Morning Glory" For the longest time I thought my name was "Glory" not Ginger, poor little girl thought her daddy forgot her name. It's kinda cool and cloudy here in Chandler, AZ, which is highly unusal. My son and my sister are coming over this morning to help me pick out glasses. I have an eye appt. I have never wore glasses..but I can"see" that I am in the need for some now. We will go shopping if son and sis are up to it...both are recovering from surgeries. Now I'm the one running on ahead---the one that is like the energizer bunny
Who would had thought that after only 4 months I'd be movin like this. Congradulations on you 1 year surgiversary!! I am so proud of you!
Hugs,
Ginger
Ha! Ginger ... that's what my Mom always said to us when we got to the breakfast table ... "Good Morning, Glories!!!" Must have been a "thing" back then.
Funny thing is, it's what I say to my little dog everymorning now too ... she must be totally confused on what her name really is (Lakota) ... cause I also call her "ChickenButz" (
another old saying around our home growing up ... "What's up, ChickenButz?").
I'm also in the market for (new) glasses ...the ones I have keep falling apart (lenses fall out) and they've become too big for my face! Good luck on finding something you like, but don't be bashful about style!!! I'm sure not going to be when I get new ones ... always before I've kept things low-keyed. This time I'm going to let my daughters pick them out for me ... and whatever they think is "cool" I'm going with!
I'm glad to see your son is getting better after his surgery, and best wishes to your sister too. Thanks for the congrats! I'm awful proud of you too ... you've had a bit of a rocky road and done well through it all.
take care and have fun!!!

Hello Myra from Missouri,
I think it is in the mid to uppper 40s here in Minnesota. Plan for today was to go downstairs and do laundry very early this morning. So much for that plan--now I have to do laundry mid morning
Then I have to pick up dry cleaning and pack for our mini trip this weekend.
We bought a new car and we want to put some miles on it
Mary
I've got dogwoods in the front yard that are beginning to open too ... been out picking up limbs from the storm that blew through a week or two back (I'd been waiting on a day like today to do it). The raking will be waiting on the gentleman that mows for me ... he's coming next week to "begin the season" (
)
Have a great day!
M
