one month check up with nut
Here is what my nut okayed me to take wednesday
1 multi- vitamin I am taking once source from walmart as I have taken it for
years.
3 tums She told me two tums was not enough and that I can take
any calcium caltrate with vit D but I havent picked one up
yet.
B-12 sublingual 500 mg once daily
and a pepcid tablet to prevent ulcers is still prescribed.
She also told me they prefer me not to do shakes and she thinks I am getting more protein then I thought I was getting in.
And I am officially down 28 pds from 308. Love marie
Hi Marie.
You sound like you are doing just GREAT!!! Good for you!
Glad that you are able to get in all that protein!! Most of us posties seem to have a hard time doing that. Can you give me some ideas of what kinds of proteins you do in an average day? I'm 4 months out and still struggle in that area. Water is no problem for me....salt/sodium however, that is doing me in!!! I have to stay away from that..it is haulting my weight-loss, which means that I have to say good-bye to my favorite protein find.....beef jerky!!!! I tried to make my own so that I could control the sodium (so to speak)....even the dog hated it!!!!

This is what I have been eating. lots of chicken, chopped really small, eggs, tuna, drinking 4 cups of milk per day, as I have back problems I dont want to get osteoporisis. I drink one CIB per day but my nut wants me to get my protein from my food. I dont eat it if it does not have protein in it.
I eat something every two to three hours. good luck love marie
