Gym Is Open (Wednesday)
I made it to the little gym in the hotel here in New Orleans this morning. They only had one treadmill, one eliptical and one stationary bike for cardio, there were lots of people, but, they had a lot of weight machines, so I did that first and still managed to get in 20 minutes on the treadmill.
Boy, do I sweat a whole lot more in this humidity!
What did you do to move your body today?

I took the dogs to the park, as usually, we walked two trips around the track which would be one mile. I walk so alow but that is okay because I can walk with out pain.
I did some leg lifts in bed last night. I dont know what they are called but I just pulled each knee up five times and sideways leg lift five times. and did circles in both directions. I do these about three times a week as it helps keep my hips from getting as sore. arthritis they tell me. I just hate old arthur. dont you?

Keep moving Marie! It does help with arthritis...it doesn't eliminate it...but it helps. I really suffer with it in my knees, back and left hip. Now that I can no longer take any anti-inflammatories it sometimes really is hard. But, getting this weight off has helped a lot!
