having a pain

I am about a month and a week out. The other day I started feeling this pain out about three inch on the right side of my incision. When I sit it feels like a smashing pain. sometimes it feels like a bruise soreness. and sometimes it has a dull sharp pain. I see the doc monday so will see what he says but was just wondering if it might be a hernia?

If your surgon knows about this and is okay with you waiting til Monday, I wouldn't worry too much. If your doctor doesn't know (because you'd scheduled the appointment for a 1-month check, or for some other reason before the pain developed), call him tomorrow. If the pain is very sharp, I'd go to the emergency room. If you have a hernia, they'll tell you. If it's a muscle pull, they'll know. If it's a surgical complication, you'll be in the right place.
