I'm back from New Orleans and back to my fundraising...thank goodness it ends tomorrow. So, I'm posting this for 2 days in case I don't get a chance tomorrow. On Saturday, after being at the radio station for 6 hours, I went on a glorious 75 minute walk. The weather is so beautiful! What did you do to move your body this weekend? Lori

I finished a 10k (6.2 mil) Volkssport walk. It is a non competitive walking group. I like it. At the race last week I felt guilty about being last and holding up the award cerimony etc. But in a volkssort walk you can start anywhere between 8am and noon and as long as you are done by 3pm you are good. It doesn't matter how fast or slow you are. it is just a nice walk with great folks. Deb 392-275-180

Deb, That is the kind of walk I need to go on. One where there is no pressure about when you finish, just finishing is an achievement! Lori

Hi, I spent three hours both today and yesterday at the dog park. I do laps around the park while my dog plays. I don't know how many miles I do but it feels great. Both me and my dog are very tired when we get home and he doesn't get tired easily! Lori
