Hi from Indiana

Am pre-surgery with a BMI of 60. My DH had WLS one year ago and has lost nearly 200# and is doing great. No more oxygen for him, down 14 different medications and feels wonderful! I only hope I do as well as he has. We are both 51 and have only been married for 10 months; took us 50 years to find each other and I know unless I lose weight we will not make even a 10 year anniversary. I have read so many of your profiles and they are so encouraging! Thank you so much for sharing your journey. Hope to start mine next month! Jennie

hi jernnie from oregon. i was born a hoosier and raised in noblesville in the 50 and 60s. it took me 40 yrs to meet my wife . i had revision surgery in oct last year and have lost 125 pounds since. funny but i feel better at 57 yrs old than i did at 30. you and your hubby indeed have a great future. best dave

Hi Jennie, I'm from Indiana to.... Velpen probably never heard of it. I have surgery Nov.11th of 05. I have lost 140lbs so far and i feel like a new person already! I sure wish you luck! Bye
