Think I should take up wrestling??

Well, how is everyone? I am OK. It has been almost 9 months since surgery, and I have lost about 133 pounds. I am still really, really big. I am 5'11". I say 5'11" because if I say 6', which is my actual height, it makes me seem super, super huge, like some sort of mutant. My doctor says an ideal weight for me is about 200 pounds. What? That is crazy! What women's ideal weight is 200?!?!?!?!?!? This is upsetting to me, because even if, by some miracle, I lose all my excess weight, I am still going to be like some gigantic horror movie creature. How did this happen? My mother is 5' tall and my father is 5'8". Anyway, since I am too old to become America's Next Top Model, a ballerina, or a Las Vegas Show Girl, and my previous goal of Roller Derby champ is much too labor intensive (and I can't skate), I have a new goal....professional wrestler. I think I can do it! I got the size, and check out the new pics in my profile! I already have arms like Gorgeous George. Well, when I am a famous GLOW girl, I guess you can say "you knew me when........." Good luck to everyone! I hope you don't end up with sides of beef for arms Carrie

Carrie, your whole post made me . I went and looked at your profile and I think you look great! Considering what my arms are starting out looking like....maybe we could be a tag team after I lose my first 100 lbs? Lisa L.

Thanks Lisa, I am feeling OK, except the arms OK!!! I could use a tag team partner. Look me up when you are ready to pursue wrestling dream! Carrie

I checked out your profile and you look great. your arms have a tiny bit of hang but not bad. I checked them out expecting to see some bat wings like mine (19 inches around the upper arm). Be happy it is not a lot worse. Deb 392/270/180

Carrie, I so understand how you feel! I am 5'10", a little shorter, but, have felt the very big girl thing since I was a kid. They used to call me "Godzilla" when I was in the 5th grade as I towered over all the other kids. We come in all sizes I guess. At least we are healthier now! Lori 384/245/168

Lori, I should not laugh, but Godzilla brings back memories! I used to work with a guy named Ben, an ex-Marine with "short man syndrome." He just barely made the minimum height requirement of 5'4". He was such a fun guy and always loved flirting with me. He used to call me Sasquatch, but not in a mean way, a friendly joking way. He did this for about a year, and I thought Sasquatch was one of Pocahontas' Native American Friends until someone told me it meant Big Foot. I, too was always the tallest. Besides, I always wear heels, and not your average conservative heels, but all of my heels are at least 4", and most are 5" and 6". I even have some Michael Kors shoes that have a 6" heel and a 1" platform, so I am about 6'7" in those!! If I lose about 30 more pounds I will look like RuPaul. There are benefits to being tall. You can carry a lot more weight, and being 30 pounds overweight does not show like it does on a 5' woman like my mom. I would just like to be a tiny girl for one day You look great, by the way! Carrie
