6 day hospital stay

My 6 day hospital stay was not related to my WLS. I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. The symptoms that resulted in severe dehydration, severe diarreha for many days, has not cleared up but they finally released me today. Fortunately, I don't have the pain usually associated with colitis, but it will take a while to get me on track. Oddly, my WLS was slow to treat my dehydration even though the classic symptoms were there. His nurse practioner was on the ball, but he overroad her. I was a naughty girl in the hospital. I kept going outside to They only sent security after me once. I went in with him after I finished my cigarette. I looked cute walking the hospital in my burnt velvet red robe. The rest of the nurses pretended they didn't know what I was doing and pretended they didn't know me when they ran into me when they were smoking. Once in the x-ray waiting room, I forgot I was connected to the IV poll by a central line and went walking accross the room full boar. The tech came at me at a full tackle. I scared the socks of the poor lady. I was fine thanks to her. It is good to be home. Loris

Loris, Im so sorry you had to spend so long in the hospital! Atleast you were treated and finally feeling better! Boy, I thought I was a handful of a patient! Atleast I didnt make the staff chase me out of the building!! Im so happy to see you back here again and to know that even though you werent feeling the best you still managed to keep people on their toes!! Amber
