Did anyone have open rny?

I had mine on April 20th. I am having some pain and tightness on my right side nothing too bothersome and my back aches when I walk but that is probably due to my hunched position. I am really wanting to eat some real food although I know it is head hunger. How long did it take any of you guys to recover from your open rny? Also did anyone wear a girdle or a binder during their recovery. I have heard from a couple of people who had other abdominal surgeries that this helped them. Thanks for your responses, Vickie
