Gym Is Open (Monday)

New week, new resolve to exercise as much as possible, right? Here is what I did at the gym this morning: SB Reverse Crunch 3 x 15 Stability Ball Weighted Oblique Crunch 3 x 10 each Stability Ball DB Chest Press 3 x 8 Stability Ball DB Pull Over 3 x 8 SB DB Fly 2 x 10 Lat Pull Down Wide Grip 2 x 10 Cable Biceps Curls 2 x 10 V Grip Cable Triceps Extension 2 x 10 For cardio, I did 30 minutes on the treadmill at 3.5 mph. I was a very good postop today ... 7:00 a.m. was at phys therapy to make my workout round: steps, 3 sets of 20, both legs arm bike, 10 mins stationary bike, modified to exclude arm involvement, 10 mins Achilles stretch, 4 mins Biceps, at 5 lbs, 3 reps of 15 each Overhead pull-downs, at 10lbs, 3 reps of 10 Nautilus, pull-back, at 10lbs, 3 reps of 10 Weight Ball vertical lift, at 7 lbs, 3 reps of 8 Treadmill, 10 mins, 1.8 mph Elliptical, 3 mins 1:00 p.m. PACE CLASS, 1 hour of low-impact arthritis exercises. 5:00 p.m. My back hurts, my legs hurt, and I'm exhausted Tomorrow ... second verse, same as the first! I promised myself. I need just 3.5 more lbs to the DC club!!! Myra

Myra, Yes, you were a very good post op!!!! 3.5 lbs to get to 200 lost, wow!!!! I hope that will be me some day! I'm very proud of you and all you've accomplished! Lori 384/241.5/168

Thanks Lori, I'm having a hard time really believing the scales right now. I go to support group tonight, so I'm going to try to slip on their scales just to double check mine are right Myra
