help....excess back fat?

hello everyone.... i am having surgery on may 23 and i am 5' 10" tall and weigh about 370 lbs. i am wondering about a few things... i carring most of my weight on the top half of my body, i have extra back fat (i know, doesn't sound to pretty) but has anyone had this before surgery? if so what happens after? do you end up with sagging skin on your back? just pretty curious...i know that everyone is different...thanks for the help....t...

t, What has happened to me is that most of my back fat is completely gone with very little excess skin. But, the weight of my belly and breasts are much harder to carry now. I don't have that counter balance anymore... I just keep telling myself, I did this for health, not for beauty...saggy skin comes with the territory. Lori 384/242/168

I am surprised and pleased to say that my back fat is going away with no sag. I started at 344, weigh 205 with a goal of about 135. I am 5'2" tall. I have noticed in other people's pictures that the back fat leaves with no sag. Good luck to you. Loris

Honestly I'm not sure. I started at 399, weigh 243 now and still have back fat. I never had a whole bunch, but it almost seems more now. I suppose cuz I am losing everywhere else first. Good luck!
