I am about 330 lbs and Have 4 tats, tongue ring and both nipples pierced.
I loved getting all of them It is the most incredible feeling....They are a little addicting....Im hoping to have surgery...so I am hoping that I can just put a spacer in the piercings so I do not have to take them out.
My tongue does not close that fast. My nipples will close if I take to long to change the jewlery so that kinda Hurts...anyway just thought I would let all you ladies know doesnt matter how big you are you want something pierced get it done....l8tr

Hi All!
WELL! This is nice information to know. At least now I know to not have my other nipple re-pierced until after the surgery. I might as well wait until I get the cosmetic body reconstruction done before replacing the one that migrated out. I still have one, so I'll be planning on the temporary removal of it. Thanks for the info. I would not have thought about it. I'm glad I checked in here.

i am kinda new to this so.... anyways i am an apprenitce right now too. i have alota piercings, but thats all i do. i can draw but more afraid to mess it up. anyways nice to see someone else who does it!

Hello everyone,
Im waiting on approval for my surgery. I was also wondering why I cant keep my body jewelry in, but the laser/electricity thing makes sence. I have my nose pierced for about 1 year, my tongue pierced for about 5 years and just gauged my ears to a 4 a couple nights back. I had ankle surgery in Feb and the nose and tongue were fine, Im just worried about my ears closing a little. It hurt like hell to get them that big, I dont want to go through it again!

Any time you are going to have surgery they (doctors) will ask you to remove them. This is in case of an emergency. They cant shock you or anything with metal in your skin. Not to be morbid or anything, just stating the facts. You will be able to put them back in at any time after surgery.

I was talking to this guy I met who happens to own his own studio and he agreed to take me on as a apprentice and teach me body piercing and tattooing. I've always wanted to learn but never thought I would get the chance. I'm so excited I just had to post it....

Sorry, I mainly post in the Illinois forum!!! Here is what I have posted:
I just cannot not believe how wonderful I feel. This surgery has changed my life!!! I have only lost 31#'s, but I feel like a whole new person. I have so much more energy and always on the go. My heart rate has decreased, my blood oxygenation levels have increased and my blood pressure has decreased (which I did not want.............I was 102/60 the other day). I realize now how depressed I have been the past few years..........welll my entire life. Good luck to all of you on this journey.
