Topic: Happy 4th!!
Hi Everyone:
Hope everyone had a happy 4th. My gym was open this morning so of course I went to workout. Much of the croud was older since the young folks were probably hung over or posing on some beach (LOL).
Today was leg day so I did my glutes (3 sets @ 100) my calves (3 sets @ 200 sitting @ 3 sets of calf raises @ 350), my quads (3 sets @ 180) my hammys (3 sets @ 180), leg presses (3 sets @ 350).
Did not forget my weighted crunches (120 @ 180), leg lifts (3 sets of 20) and regular crunches (150) and 15 minutes of cardio (10 min @ 4.7 @ 10% grade, 5 minute run @ 10%).
Not bad for a holiday.

Topic: I am swimming!! Happy 4th!
This is a huge thing for me... I am finally swimming and getting over my bathing suit phobia!! It feels so good to swim. I stuck with breast stroke. My freestyle is so rusty. I did laps on Sat. and Sunday. On Sat. I did them at my apartment pool and on Sunday I did them at the gym outdoor pool. Today I actually have to do some work but as soon as I am done I am off to the pool again.
Around 1pm we are headed to our friends house for a BBQ and then to the Fireworks over Baltimore harbor in the evening.
Have a beautiful 4th everyone!

Hi Everyone:
This is my first post and wanted to tell you about myself.
I've been lifting since my surgeon allowed me in January, 2004. I enjoy going to the gym and I'm convinced that weightlifting has assisted me in not having hanging skin. Feel free to check out some of my photos at the link below:

I will visit frequently to get suggestions on how I can improve.
