ok.. i added some full shots!!!!!! Actually I added a bunch of older pictures to show the yo-yo weight at different times in my life - got some sort of "full shots" that are a bit scary. It is cool when you see your before picture or other pictures where you see yourself as much larger and compare to post op. I can tell a difference anyway but pictures really do show so much more then just looking in the mirror especially the more candid/not posed pics.

I had a great workout last night!! Went with a couple girlfriends to a place called the Sonar Club for a Katrina Benefit. Hung out with the cast of The Wire from the HBO series. They called it a Fat Tuesday Hoodoo Throwdown, hosted by Wendell "The Bunk" Pierce from the Wire. Danced for a few hours to some great music from three New Orleans bands: The Subdudes, The Rebirth Brass Band, and The Iguanas. Was a fun girls night out. Some major good looking guys there too!! I was a good girl though.

I pounded the weights yesterday. The upper body felt really strong today. My legs are still really sore from the killer leg workout on Sunday. In fact, the legs were sorer yesterday...the second day after...than the first day after. I know exactly why I am so sore. I had not worked the legs for two weeks, Plus I did a several sets of Squats, Sissy Squats (misnomer ) , Dumbbell Lunges, adductor cable pulls. Then for the hamstrings, I did reverse hyperextension, one leg bridges, abduction cable pull. Then I finished up with several sets of seated calf raises.....then I ran intense intervals. I must have been on drugs Sunday I will never hit it that hard again. I have had a sore upper body before but it is nothing compared to my sore legs. I was gimping abound all day. After my work out yesterday, I took a long sauna and really stretched the legs out. They felt much better ....for a while...then they cooled off and were sore again. I will be fine in a few days....Live and learn. I guess if you never pu**** to the limit, you will never know the limit. I sure found my limit.

lol.. been there, done that! Rest up and take it easy. I found this bath stuff for sore muscles the other day at walmart. It has some ecalyptus and other essential oils in it. It sort of works. Well at least it smells good anyway. Gorgeous day here in Baltimore. Just a bit brisk and I can't seem to warm up even with a sweater and button down shirt on. Did you ever get cold the first year after surgery? I feel like I am cold most of the time.

I'm feeling much better this morning. Finally got the cycle back under control so I WILL go to the gym this afternoon. I took some halfway point pictures. They are not the best pics since I took them myself but they show off my highlights and in one of the half bodyones you actually can see I have a waist. I'm wearing this short black twead shirt and almost knee high leather boots with the outfit. Looks good and I feel good. Shame I had trouble getting a full shot. Funny cause six months ago I wouldn't even dare post half my body =P http://soramor.homestead.com/PumpkinDay.html

Topic: Killer leg workout
Yesterday I had a killer leg work out in the gym. Then I went outside for a walk. The weather was perfect. The sun was shinning, and I felt really good. Anyhow, I felt so good that I started doing some intervals. Before I knew it, I was 20 minutes into it. I was pretty sore last night, but this morning the real sorenes****ouch...next time I get the urge to do intervals after a leg workout, I will remember this soreness and think again
