I just downloaded some new music to my MP3 player. I love listening to music when I lift...or do cardio. ... Ok here are some of my favorites:
AC/DC, Barenaked Ladies,Guster,Green Day,Evanesence(Bring Me Back to Life is my favorite),Maroon5,Oasis,Weezer,Stained, Three Doors Down,Rolling Stones, REO Speedwagon,Goo Goo Dolls,Dave Matthews Band,Cold Play,Ben Folds....I like to old rock and combined with new stuff.
What kind of music do you listen to during exercise?

Thanks for all your prayers. I will have this surgery someday! It has taken me 6 month to lose 20lbs. My weight keeps going up and down! The stupid meds and my hormone problems and the PCOS...blah blah blah blah! Hopefully I will be getting back to the gym next week. They won't let me lift anything over 10lbs! Can you imagine????????

I've been here a few times http://www.kripalu.org/ and that started my passion for yoga about 10 yrs ago. I have not developed a regular practice but I do yoga here and there. My plann is to test out different studios in the area.

I am still alive. I am going through some rough health problems right now. I am in physical therapy because I did something to my rotator cuff. I went to a nepherologist(sp?) and I am spilling a large amount of protein. (kidney doctor). So I just decided to step away from the board because it seems my insurance company will not pay for the surgery.
All of you are so encouraging! Just wanted to stop in and say Hi. I have been lurking and seeing the incredible progress you all are making! It blesses my socks off to see you all are going forward!

I was a weekend warrior. Friday evening I did yoga. Saturday I worked the legs (back is still bothering me but I fought through it). I also had a killer cardio work out on Saturday. Sunday I did some intervals....the sauna felt so good on Sunday...As Earl posted earlier...it got really cold on Sunday
BTW, I went to book store. There was a book called: "Real Men Do Yoga." On the cover was Eddie George (Heisman Trophy winner from OSU & Nashville Titans) and inside the book was Chris Carter doing Yoga (best receiver to play at OSU & Minnesota Vikings). It validated my passion for the benefits of Yoga.

We look forward to your future post. We can learn a lot from each other. It sounds like you are into "strength". I am into Bodybuilding which means that my muscles are not strong.... they are just for looks
My wife and kids tease me all the time. They ask me ....How can those "big" looking muscles be so weak
