blind loop surgery

Hi, i am having surgery next friday for blind loop/candy cane syndrome.  Has anyone had this done and what should i expect?  Thanks!

I see your post is from last year just wondering how your surgery went? I am having upper abdominal pain and wondered how you knew you had this, what symptoms you had and what tests they did to know this was your problem. I was in the er because of the pain they did bloodwork and X-rays but nothing showed up. Now I'm just waiting to see a gastroentologist.
