CT Scans are rarely helpful for us, unfortunately. Many of the problems that we can develop seem to only be detected by a clinical diagnosis, most tests will be normal. Sadly, it can come down to getting the right eye to see it or be suspicious of it. I'm updating my blog today, and I have had many problems, and even had my RNY reversed, and then tuned up after that just a few weeks ago. Good luck, and be vigilant! If you think something is wrong, listen to your body, and believe in yourself :)
You are so experiencing the same things I did. God bless on the surgery Thursday. You will feel like a new woman. I also needed iron but the hematologist said I needed IV iron as oral iron was not going to cut it.
You will feel SO MUCH better after this surgery is over.

I will think of you Thursday
Thursday is the day that (as my son would say) get fixed. I am sooooo tired of this pain. One good thing is that I have lost 12 pounds in this last month since I can't eat or drink without hurting. I never realized how much severe pain can drain a person. The only bad part is that my hemoglobin count was 11.4 the week after Christmas and now it is 8.1. The Dr. had me off my iron for a week before I had my scopes done (thought I was bleeding from somewhere). He has put me back on it. I am taking 325mg 2x a day. All I want to do is sleep. I will post sometime after my surgery to let you know how I am doing.

Continue to speak up when you're in ER because we're our own advocates and sometimes hospital staff don't have a clue....I've experienced that myself where my wife has to tell them the run down as to what's happening, test I've gone through, etc.
Oh my god! Ughhh....So sorry you had to deal with this. I too have had pain and no tests can detect anything. I don't have the pain as often but I just don't know when it's going to hit.
I know exactly what you're talking about regarding the pain...ughhhhh
