New here

Hi everyone, I am planning on having an RNY in Sept and will be taking the '06 civil service exam for LE. I am hoping to become a CO after I lose this darn excess weight. I've wanted to get into the LE field in some capacity for as long as I can remember. I am a dispatcher with my local PD and I love my job, but it's not what I really want to be doing. I can definitely see myself staying there if for some reason I don't get hired after I take the exam, but I'm praying that I'll get hired as a CO or a cop somewhere. I can't wait until I have this weight off and can get on with my life. It's nice to have a forum where I can hear from others who've had WLS and are in the profession that I have chosen. Carol
