Check out cruisecritics.com for reviews on all the cruise companies, ships, and ports of call. They have a great forum board on the site with suggestions and ideas and talk with other folks who will be on the same cruise as you.
Cruise Critics even have meet and greet parties organized once you are on board so you can catch up with those you have been corresponding with.

Carnival definately has alot to offer. I used to work for them and did several crusies. There is so much to do but you can have fun doing absolutely nothing.
Great service! Great Food.....excursions to satisfy any taste. Pay gratuities in advanced and save lots!!!! FUN! FUN! FUN! You just can't go wrong.. have a great time!!!

Topic: Best Cruises?
I am looking for input on the best cruises from all of you cruise lovers out there. My husband purchased a cruise package from Carnival but we will not be able to take our cruise until next year sometime. In the mean time I am looking for reviews.
Also, are there any cruises that are better as far as night life and spa treatments? Next year my husband will be deployed so me and the girlfriends are going to take a cruise. We are trying to escape the kids and do adult oriented activities. Music, dancing, drinking, massages, pampering. You get the idea.

This is great. I live on Oahu so I can just drive right too the port downtown. Hopefully I will be POST OP by then. I am still going through the grueling approval process right now and Tripler is being a big pain in the but right now and throwing all of the punches trying not to refer me out. They can only stall for so long. In the meantime I will continue to gain weight inevitably and take away any excuse they may have.

Hi,
Having just returned from a 5 day cruise on Carnival , on the Inspriration. I was quite surprised to see on the menu, a low carb option which most of the time had a fish or poultry offering. If I ordered from the main menu I normally had a salad and whatever fish or poultery dish they offered. I always tried to get in my protien first wiht any meal I had. But above all,
if you go, enjoy yourself, your on vacation!
Also I posted more in response to the below thread.
Best Regards,
Steve

Jack,
The cruise was AWESOME, the service, the food ( I stuck to fish and veggies as much as possible). We hit the casino and walked away ahead. We, (PC) and I danced like no one was watching PC is my wife's nickname stands for Princess Connie LOL. We went swiming with the stingrays, toured the Turtle farm, and spent time in Hell, while in the Grand Caymans. They the next day we where in Costa Maya Mexico. We spent time shopping and I had to have a cuban cigar just to say I smoked one. This was my first cruise and I can say I will do it again in the future. And believe it or not I actually lost a couple of pounds, I always used the stairways and did alot of walking. PC stayed the same as far as the weight goes. Our trip was somewhat rough due to the weather as well, I noticed alot of folks with those seasick patches behind their ear. It was a great way to celebrate our 34th anniversary
Best regards,
Steve

Jack,
Nice ot see another Florida person on the board. Connie and I depart this morning on the Carnival "Inspriration" for a 5 day tour. Will let you know how that goes. This will be our first cruise. I had vowed after I retires from the Coast Guard never to set foot on a ocean going vessel again LOL . Never say never I guess.

Hi Everyone!!!
I just want to know about the yearly cruises and also would like to join in this coming Sept. 06. Please let me know how everything went on the cruise, do they prepare food that we can eat and in smaller portions or is it like all the cruises. If it is than that won't scare me away I'll just have to learn self control.
