Topic: Belly Dancing
Anyone interested in Belly Dancing...now that I've hit the 200lb loss...I have sooo much energy and have taken up belly dancing which has always been a passion of mine. I use the music of Dead Can Dance and Lisa Gerrard. Anyone else got great music ideas or in the Monterey Bay area that is dancing?? Would love to talk...just on my own right now..have to be careful certain movements..but love to start in shower in the mornings and get my day going...happy dancing, all!

Topic: 4 Days post op
Hi Iam 4 days post op, I feel horriable, somebody please tell me this is normal. I feel drained sluggish, rundown, I guess that could be the least of my worries, I'm not sure if I am hungry, but all the broths that I have eaten taste yucky, not the same when I had them pre-op, I just can't put my finger on quite the way I feel, I'm terriably bloated, somebody please help. Love Melisa

Topic: RE: Belly dancing post op?
I have been dancing for a little over a year now, and I love it! One thing I love about my class is that my teacher is a BBW, and we are of all shapes, ages and sizes. There is nothing that makes you feel more feminine or sexy. I will do it until the day I die!
Topic: RE: Belly dancing post op?
WOW!!! I'd love to learn to belly dance - I took 3 classes a few years back when I lived in Alabama & quit because I was so very self conscious b/c I was like a size 22 & all the other girls in the class were like a size 4. With the traffic here, the class needs to be nearby. I checked some local dance schools, but they are Jazz/tap/clasical & so on...no bellydance. There are classes here in Atlanta but none close enough for me to get into. If you know of anyone in Northern Atlanta teaching belly dance classes - please pass along the info. I have DVDs but its not the same...& boy do I REALLY want to attend a class!!!
