still doing good!
Hey guys! I just wanted you all to know that I am still doing good. I feel tons better today, I even did some housework
now I wont get anymore help.LOL
Yesterday was a bad day I slept all day. I guess my body was just worn out. I can eat about 2 Tbsp at a time and I can only get 2 shakes in a day so I guess I am doing good so far. I get my staples out Monday that should help me getting around. Well I am off to bed, I still have to take pain meds at nite or I wont
Take care everyone when I can stand to sit in the chair longer I will be back in chat! Lots of Love!

Hi my mom was a terrible diabetic for 30 years! She started dieting one year before surgery. We all know what diabetes can do when you have a wound or in your case you will have some cuts weather you have open or lap surgery. If I were you I would personally want my sugars to be as close to normal as possible before I went through surgery. You have to heal inside as well as out. I have seen some nasty surgery wounds and you definately dont want that I know. Diabetics heal much slower than normal people. But if your sugars are as close to normal as possible you probally wouldnt need to worry as much. My moms were normal before surgery but after surgery they were not due to surgery and fluids etc. So there again should your sugars get even more out of control after surgery you want them to be controlled as much as possible before hand. Moms are great now. I think you are making a very wise decision to have surgery since you are a very early diabetic. The complications of diabetes can be terrible so good for you on your surgery decision! I would defiantely make sure they were much lower before surgery!
Good luck!!!

No resumes have gone out.. yet... I still have a small glimmer of hope that the schedule will change.. unfotunately law enforcement opportunities here are limited, as well as being the county 911, we are the non emergency disptche for police also (among other things, we are the county slaves) I do not want to move to another county.. so I am looking at a total change.. unless the office wakes up soon..but in their eyes, we are are replaceable (which I know, but you would think after 3 1/2 years there would be some loyalty)
when I was younger, I didn't mind working overnights, but these days, it just isn;t working for me (I work midnight- 8:00 am yuck) thanks for the support and I will keep you posted
