Hello All

Hello all, I am new to the message boards. I am a Telecommunicator with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol in Newton. I have been here for ten years and guess that I will be here for twenty more. I am waiting to meet my surgeon on Nov 12th, and I have all of the evaluations and other hoops jumped. I will be going through this surgery and post op alone. How long were ya'll out of work? Ralph

Hi Ralph, I had my WLS done lap, so I could have gone back to work in two weeks, but the doctor signed me out for 4 so that I could make all the food adjustments at home as well. Good luck--you won't regret it Barb Ortiz

Hi Ralph, I am a dispatcher here for the local Sheriff's Office. I have been here 15 years.. and will probally stay here until they pry my cold dead hands off the keyboard! lol I had laporscopic surgery and I was out 4 weeks. I could have gone back at 2 weeks but I had the time to use so I just took my sweet old time commin back.
