MERRY CHRISTMAS fellow dispatchers!!! I know I am a bit early, but with the inactivity on this board, I wanted to make sure I got my well wishes out, hopefully in time! I hope everyone has a safe, special holiday filled with family, friends love and laughter!!! May the new year bring only wonderful things to you and your families!!! Brianna

Paula! There you are! I was wondering how you were doing...I'm slowly making my way down the list of posts so maybe I'll see your update in a bit. Glad to see you back and posting! As for the holiday off, well, I am 2nd in seniority and I *finally* decided to take 2 weeks off at Christmas. I always tried to be nice and just take a day here or there off so others would be able to have time off too, but it always backfired and I always got ordered to work overtime. So this time I decided to be selfish and took off 2 weeks. Only problem is the minute I took off work, I got sick. My son and I have pneumonia and my husband is quite sick also, but not pneumonia. Ugh. Dina

Thanks for being here and posting up a storm Brianna. This is what the board needs. I am just such a "responder" type of person and have a hard time initiating the conversations. Much to my surprise, I check in and you've been going full boar! Way to go!!! Merry Christmas to you too! Hope you have a fabulous one! Dina

Dinka Doo.. I would love to see even more of us posting, I know life gets busy sometimes. This is a great board because not only do we have weight loss in common, but the same job, so we can really relate! Brianna

Oh absolutely - I agree. The thing is, not too many people have the same situation where we eat sometimes out of the snack machine for dinner because it's too busy to get a real lunch or whatever the case may be. We all have crazy schedules and many of us don't prepare for our shifts well. So whether we've had surgery or not we all know how hard it can be to keep on the straight and narrow like some "normal" people can. So definitely, I do think that wls and dispatching create a unique situation where we can all relate to not eating scheduled meals. Some people just don't get that I won't be eating breakfast at 7am. You all know how it goes!!! Dina

Brianna~~ Merry Christmas to you too.... I will be working Christmas night, but that is ok... It will be my last. I have 2 nights off before Christmas, and 3 nights off after. It worked out to where I can enjoy the day with my son. I'm truly blessed. My New Year will bring a new job, a new me, losing, losing losing..... and it is alreadying providing me with a wealth of friends with my online family here. I appreciate you so much for keeping me posting on here. You are an angel! Sherri
