Cry me a river....literally.

That is what I will be doing tonight....crying a river over the flooding going on here. Here when I took my vacation I was sneaky and took New Year's Eve off so I wouldn't have to deal with that chaos (it never changes....it's always chaos)....only to find that with all the storms and flooding we've already had, another is due in tonight and it will most certainly be worse than ever. And with this one, the snow levels will be coming down, so can you say "road closures," or "Twenty car pileups?" Ugh. I guess I 5 was shut down on Friday due to a landslide. Not the kind of stuff we usually have to deal with. But I guess everyone has their nasty natural disasters they have to cope with from time to time. At least it's just our roads and not our homes!!! Oh Dina! I am so sorry your plans didn't work out. I got lucky and took the night off, and kept it off!(when I came back tonight, I heard how busy it was and so glad I was off!) I don't mean to rub it in but,I had the best New Year's eve ever!!! My bf and I went out with my best friend and her husband I danced my butt off (well I call it dancing, not sure what others thought I was doing, but who cares ) We all had such fun!!! maybe you can work on getting next year off, and we will all cross our fingers that mother nature is kinder then she was this year brianna
