Topic: Hello!!
Haven't stopped by to check on the board in a while...but hope to be more active with posting with my fellow dispatchers on the board!!!
I'm finding now that I am post-op, I have a REALLY hard time sitting still all night at work.....I am in a large dispatch center with about 100 people working the shift....we wear headsets so you are kinda limited on how far away you can walk from the radio console. I've been stretching that cord though!!
My uniforms are starting to get too big!!! How cool is that!?!?! I have NEVER gone down in clothes sizes before....

I know this to be true. I did it part time in high school, then full time when I graduated for 8 1/2 years! Left it for 3 years to have my son and have been back at it for almost 3 years.

That is why I measure the same day I weigh , which I do once a month.. sometimes when those lbs aren't coming off, the inches are and it is a great boost! Soon you will be a lean mean... secretary... machine haha (since you won' t be dispatching much longer)

Even though you are bailing on us, onward an upward... once a dispatcher always a dispatcher.. besides how else will we know how well you are doing if you leave us

Tell me about it..... I'm so excited. I was down because the scales weren't moving as fast as I wanted, but they showed me how my lean muscle is growing but my fat percentage is dropping too.
The inches helped my feelings alot!!

I am happy for you, I have no idea what it is like to work Mon-Fri and 8-5 WOW Dispatching is a great job, but it really does get in the way of life with it's awful schedules!! Congrats on the new job, and best of luck!!! (I am green with envy!)

I weighed in today, still hadn't lost anymore since Thursday. Still only 9.5 lbs down. But they measured me today. In 4 weeks on the program, I've lost 15.5 inches from my body. I'm in a size 12 jean!! It's amazing. 6 of those 15.5 inches were gone from my flabby abdomen!!!! I could not believe it..... Just had to share!
