Casey and Bandit

I have two dogs. They are both ****er Spaniels and both are 11 years old. Casey is a buff and white female and Bandit is a black male. When my ex husband and I split up, I wanted a house so I could have a place for dogs. I got Casey about 2 weeks after I moved into the house. I had thought about just having one dog, but it was obvious after 2 weeks that she needed a companion. So, when she was 11 weeks old, I got Bandit, who was 7 weeks old at the time. She weight 10 pounds and he weighed 3. She has ruled the roost from day 1. She's spoiled rotten, used to getting her way, and loves to eat anything! She once swallowed an entire knee high nylon. I didn't realize it until I came home the night after she did it and she had thrown it up all over my kitchen floor. Her favorite things are tissues, cotton balls and Q-tips. It's a constant battle to remember to keep the small wastebaskets in my house away from her. Bandit is much more laid back. Where Casey loves to eat and would eat twice as much as I usually feed her, I have to coax him to eat. His greatest joy is chasing squirrels in my back yard. I was watching him one day, trying to figure out what he was doing and it finally occurred to me that he was actually stalking one. Only in his dreams will he ever catch one. I'm sure the squirrels get a great kick out of teasing him.
