Some people call me crazy but I am the mom of a five year old red chow named Harley. She's the most well behaved dog I have ever owned. I am so glad warmer weather is here so I can take her to her favorite activity, swimming in the lake!!

My husband and I are thinking a bout a chow for our next dog.We have an aging samoyed withseveral health issues.I see you are in Mi.Just wondering if you have been happy with your "cabosse" and do you like your breeder?Sharon in Grand Rapids.

I have raised chows for over fifteen years, I have chows all up and down the east coast. I presently only have two a rough red coat and her Mom who is black is a smooth coat. They are the most wonderful dogs. It dpends on how they are raised, if they are going to be mean. I have others dogs with them, I have a boxer and tow bassett hounds and they all get along great. My red chow loves her little swimming pool, she has the bassetts going in with her.
