Pekingese

Hello all. Me and hubby just adopted a 4 year old peke in May. Her names Angel. She is the cutest thing. We really did get a good dog. Anyone else have a peke?

I HAVE A PEKE HE'S SIX. I RESCUED HIM FROM A POUND. HE HAS HEART WORMS. HE TOOK THE FIRST PART OF THE TREATMENT BUT GOT REALLY SICK. YOU'D NEVER KNOW IT. HE'S SUCH A BOSSY BOY. HE RULES THE ROOST. MY TWO BIG DOGS, 2 YEAR OLD LAB FEMALE AND 6 YEAR OLD LAB/SPRINGER LET HIM BOSS THEM AROUND. I LOVE MY BOY BAD BREATH AND ALL

i havea pekingese she is sooooo rotten her name is holly we got her two years ago around christmas so her full name is holly berry hahaha she was the runt of the litter *pretty small and with that came a enlarged heart with stage 6 heart murmur.....so she is very spoiled and at the time we got her i was going through infertility so by the time we were able to bring her home i was on bed rest so she slept in my arms all the time......needless to say she is more rotten today than back then! love her like my kids! tracey

I had a rescued Pekingese for 12 years. He was 14 years old when he died in March of 2003. I can tell you that he is irreplaceable and was just the best dog. He did have trouble breathing more as he aged, and they are prone to luxating patellas, so have the ve****ch for it. I think you did a wonderful job getting such a sweetie. Enjoy her! I now have a Papillon my husband got me because I was just so depressed and we have 2 Dobermans... and Pekingese was the BOSS Lisa - on my way to the losing side.
