This is for Lucky...

I'm going to be 6 weeks out tomorrow & I went back to work on Monday. I guess I was feeling normal until today when I got home from work & my beautiful dog had been hit by a neighbor. She was in the ditch suffering so I had to shoot her to put her out of her misery as her back was broke & she could hardly move & her heart was racing a mile a minute. It absolutely killed me to see her laying there, but I knew what I had to do. I got her buried out in our backyard where it's very peaceful...she was a great dog. I'm dying inside right now though...

I'm so sorry. It's always hard to lose a pet especially to an accident. I hate it when someone hits an animal and then doesn't even stop to see if it can be helped. But good for you for having the strenght and courage to end the suffering. Time will help you to heal. Not everyone wants another pet right away but I always do when I lose one. The new helps ease the pain of the lost one. Linda

I am so sorry to hear that you lost your baby... How incredibly sad! I will add you & Lucky to my prayer list and hold my baby Fudge a little tighter tonight.
