Any Scottish Terrier Owners/lovers out there?

We own a 3 year old Scottie named George. He is just the best dog I have ever owned! Easy to train, loving,smart, interesting.... Anybody out there a Scottie lover? We want to get another one soon, a female probably. We're having a hard time finding a breeder though! Rachel

Hi Rachel, I have two Scotties, it seems like once you get one you just have to have another. My boy is Ian Mcdoogle and my girl is Lilliana Mcdoogle silly I know but I just couldn't resist giving them a last name. Lilliana is a rescue from the local pound, I don't know how old she is but she is blind in one eye, and has lost most of her teeth and hair. I knew no one would want her and she would be put down and I couldn't stand the thought of that. She is more like a fixture on the couch then anything else. Ian is my baby, well he is 4 but he is still my baby. He is black and has a bit of OCD, he is obsesed with tennis balls, and all toys are his. I think they are the smartest dogs and so funny. We also have a Boxer who is 1 & 1/2 years. Good luck on finding a female.

Hi Darla! I love your scottie's names! How cute!! We want to get a female and name her Gracie. After George Burns and Gracie Allen. How funny that you have a boxer!! George's best friend is a boxer! Its my Dad's dog. He is 1 1/2 too. His name is Chance. They make such an odd couple, but they have lots of fun together! Boxers are sweet dogs. Chance is a big baby and he lets George have all his toys when we go over there, hes so good! He will also lay down on the ground to play with George so George can reach ok! Its so nice to meet another Scottie owner! They are such unique dogs and so much fun! Rachel

Hi Rachel, I have 2 scotties and they are the loves of my life. Winston is my first scottie and he is a 5 yrs old brindle scottie. We've had him from a baby and got him from a breeder in New Hampshire. Our newest scottie is Hamilton, we call me Hammy or Hampster. He will be 1 in Jan. He's a wheaton colored scottie and we got him from a breeder in Alabama. I would highly recommend this breeder if your interested in getting another. I found her on the internet and immediately connected with her. She sent me weekly photos of my pup and updated me on everything until the day he was old enough to come home.
