~~~Pug problems~~~
I have had 4 Pugs and they are very close with there owners. They
do not like to be alone, ever!
If I go outside and sit on the patio I have to have a chair next to mine for my Pug, Angel, to sit in. She thinks she is human.
He probably does love you so much he can't get enough of you!
That's that best part of having a Pug. He is also still a baby at 5 months.
Good Luck,
Mary
Hi Michelle,
I have a friend with a pug and she says the same thing about hers. He follows his mommy everywhere!
I have two Newfoundlands (110 and 190 pounds) and they are the same way. If i get in the shower..they are sitting there watching, if I get up to go into another room, a parade follows behind me. I can't even pee without a dog following me in. However, I like to look at it this way.... I have yet to find the same companionship, loyalty, faithfullness, admiration and unconditional love that I get from my dogs in anyone else in my life. No matter what you say or do, or how much you weigh or what you look like, or how much money you have, they will always love you just the way you are. Oh yeah, they are also great listeners when I need someone to talk to and they think my signing is the bomb!!
Pugs are very family oriented. They don't like to be alone. Mine is 9 years old now and I can't get out of her sight without her tracking me down.
If I go from the dining room to the living room, and you can see into either room from the other one, she still follows me.
When I get home from work, she is all over me wanting attention.
It's just that they love you very much. You might try getting a companion for him. It might make a difference, but it might not.
